Reconn Consulting prides itself on balancing strategy with tactics for they are inextricably linked. In developing and executing a strategy, Reconn Consulting understands the need to work from the broad to the specific, from definition to design, and from complex to simple and elegant.

Our customary process begins with engaging senior management and/or the planning committee on detailed elements of your institution’s business process, people, performance, and philosophy. We quickly moved to a board-level discussion of generic strategies such as growth, harvest, turnaround, divestiture, merger/acquisition, and maintenance. Ultimately, a three- or five-year plan culminates in a project management office (PMO) that can be managed by the institution or by Reconn Consulting. The plan becomes a tangible, executable document that the board, management, and staff can use daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually to gauge outcomes and adjust direction.
